Supporting the community is an extremely important part of the day to day activities at Lloyd Dowson, just as we consider our Lloyd Dowson Team to be a family we also consider our local communities to be an extended family.

This support is not only provided by selective funding but through team commitment.  You will find our Lloyd Dowson team members supporting and competing in local events with teams made up from our dedicated and committed staff.

Lloyd Dowson have been represented in most charitable events whether its baking cakes for Macmillan Cancer Support, taking part in the race for life for Cancer Research or turning out in all weathers as part of the Community Clean up Scheme.

Lloyd Dowson support a variety of community groups and organisations from the Bridlington and Scarborough Rugby Clubs to school sports teams such as the Headlands School Hockey Team. They also support theatre groups like the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough and the Spotlight Theatre in Bridlington.
