“Whilst studying for my A-Levels I was given the opportunity to take part in work experience with Lloyd Dowson. During this time, the team at Lloyd Dowson had helped me to decide that my career choice was in Accountancy. I applied to the local college for AAT Level 2 and began my journey working for Lloyd Dowson. After passing AAT Level 2 and Level 3, I have moved onto studying Level 4. Having the ability to learn at my own pace makes it so flexible and this way of studying is brilliant as it means I can apply the knowledge I gain in my studies to my daily work at Lloyd Dowson. I recognise the many opportunities that are available to me at Lloyd Dowson to further progress my career.”

“Every day is different at Lloyd Dowson”
After finishing my A Levels and starting AAT Level 2, I applied for a job at Lloyd Dowson where I was given the opportunity to start training as an accountant. I then went on to complete AAT Level 3 and Level 4. I studied all 3 levels at college, one day a week, which I found beneficial as I could apply what I was learning whilst gaining experience in the working environment at Lloyd Dowson.
There are never two days the same at Lloyd Dowson. Each day offers a variety of work, including VAT returns, accounts preparation and auditing for a range of different businesses. The team at Lloyd Dowson are forward thinking and are very helpful when it comes to training. I am now working towards becoming ACA qualified with the support of Lloyd Dowson.
